My professional experience has focused on the arts and arts education. I have been an exhibiting professional artist, museum educator, arts administrator, and teacher. I am past president of the Associated Artists of Pittsburgh and a member of the Pittsburgh Society of Artists. My education includes an MS.Ed. in Museum Leadership from Bank Street College of Education, New York City; a BFA in Painting from Seton Hill College; and a BA in Speech and English from Westminster College. I completed a Professional Certificate in Floral Design from Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Garden. I have been a volunteer Docent with the Carnegie Museum of Art for the past 15 years.
